Prime Bass Fishing Nears
As many PA fishing enthusiasts know, there is a NO HARVEST period for bass from mid April to June 11th. Fishing is permitted but with a
"no take" rule. The opening day for Bass
starts June 12, 2010. Smallmouth, largemouth, and a few other species of bass are included.
Early bass fishing reports are appearing now. Good catches are noted for
PA fishing spots Lake Wilhelm, Susquehanna River, Lake Arthur, Pymatuning Lake, Lake Erie, and more.
