Adams Creek
EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA

A small, scenic tributary of the Delaware River, Adams
Creek flows for about two and a half miles through the
Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. This small
stream is home to only a modest trout population, but
many anglers feel it's worth the hike through the woods
to try a few casts. Brown trout tend to inhabit the
waters below the falls, which lie about .7 miles downstream
from State Route 2001, while brook trout are more commonly
found above.

The stream is accessible from State Route
2001 close to its source and Route 209 near its mouth. An excellent brown drake hatch makes for prime seasonal
fly-fishing.
