Canoe Creek
CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA

A tributary of the Frankstown Branch of the Juniata
River, Canoe Creek is a great trout stream with stocked
and some hold over trout. The fishery runs along Route
22, eight miles east of Hollidaysburg. It's 20 feet
wide on average, and has bends, pools, and nice undercut
banks for trout to find shelter.
Spots below Canoe Creek Lake are very popular and crowded. Above the lake the creek flows through state game lands.

It's been reported that some headwaters hold wild brown and brook trout.
To fish the stretches above the lake, follow SR 1011. It runs along the bank.
