Cedar Run
CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA
|
Cedar Run is a small mountain freestone stream rarely
exceeding 25 feet wide, and boasts tumbling riffles,
long ledge pools and a first-rate wild trout population.
It is not stocked and is managed as a wild trout stream,
but is not always easy to fish, with crystal clear waters
making fish wary. From the mouth of Cedar Run upstream
to Buck Run, Trophy Trout regulations are in place.
This stretch has a two-trout-per-day limit with a 14
inch minimum.

with larger pools in the lower reaches. Above Buck Run
the stream is a good bit smaller, dwindling to scarcely
