Little Lehigh River
EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA

The Little Lehigh is a very productive limestone spring creek. Tough regulations
help protect this fishery even within the city limits of Allentown.
Access to the stream can be found inside the City Park
System. Overall, this prestigious trout stream begins
in eastern Berks County and flows about 20 miles before
it enters the Lehigh River in Allentown.

The stream can sometimes reach 60 feet in width with deep
pools and good riffles and tree-lined banks. Stop in at the
local fly shop to find out more about the insect hatches and
ideal tackle.
