Loyalhanna Lake

Loyalhanna Lake, located in the rolling foothills of
the Laurel Highlands, is known for its excellent fishing--crappie,
bullhead, catfish, bluegills, largemouth bass, trout,
and carp. Anglers have the opportunity also fish for
large musky or tiger musky, land a walleye in the outflow
and land an occasional tiger trout from the headwaters.
The lake averages a 10-foot depth and can reach almost
50 feet in some areas.

Fishing is good in the area where
Serviceberry Run flows into the lake and near the outflow
area below the dam. The Bush Recreation Area on the
Lake has camping as well as ramps for canoes.
