CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA

Raystown Lake is the largest self-contained lake in Pennsylvania. Excellent fishing occurs in an 8,000 acre lake operated and maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers. Raystown Lake is the one of the best places to fish in the area for: Catfish, Carp, Bass, Walleye, Muskellunge, Trout, Atlantic Salmon, Perch, Smelt, Crappy, and Blue Gill.


Stripers are a favorite among anglers who use this fishery. Stripers to 50 pounds have been caught in Raystown, and the Lake produced the state record for landlocked striped bass.
