Yellow Breeches

CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA

Yellow Breeches is a popular stream where you'll never find a shortage of trout. There's more than 20 miles of water with a no-kill section at Boiling Springs. There is a stocking program with fish stocked almost its entire length. Fly fishing anglers enjoy great hatches with excellent dry fly fishing opportunities.The stream is known for its famous White Fly, a dependable, prolific hatch from mid to late August.

The no-kill stretch at Boiling Springs is fed, in part, from a cool spring. About a one-mile stretch remains cool and productive through most of the summer.
