Here are some of the groups in Pennsylvania supporting the
sport as well as conservation efforts. If you don't see your

Federation
of Fly Fishers - The mission of the Federation of Fly
Fishers is to lead activities that enhance and support the
fly fishing experience for all anglers who fish with the artificial
fly.
Little
Juniata River Chapter of the Federation of Fly Fishers
- Rated as one of the best trout rivers on the East Coast,
the Little Juniata is Central Pennsylvania's best kept secret.
Fly Fishing Club
- An exclusive membership organization for discriminating
fly fishermen, women and kids
Keystone
Walleye Club - Keystone Walleye Club was started in Feb
1997 in southern PA.
MUSKIES, Inc. - America's
most conservation consious anglers.

Rivers Chapter of MUSKIES, Inc.

Steelhead Association - Founded in 1996, the Association
was created by avid steelhead anglers to develop landowner
cooperation, maintain a professional relationship with the
Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, and actively support
the 3-C-U Trout Association.
Pennsylvania
Fish & Boat Commission - Our mission is to provide
fishing and boating opportunities through the protection and
management of aquatic resources.
Pennsylvania Anglers
Sportsmen's Association - An association "to promote
the advancement of all aspects of freshwater angling; primarily
large and small mouth bass angling; primarily in the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania; to promote sportsmanship, courtesy, angling
and boating safety, conservation, education, catch and release
team tournament fishing..."
Pennsylvania B.A.S.S. Federation-
A non-profit organization made up of 7 districts with 102
bass fishing clubs and 1518 members in Pennsylvania. PA B.A.S.S
was founded in 1972, and is one of 51 Federations in the United
States, Japan, South Africa, Italy, Ontario, and Zimbabwe,
belonging B.A.S.S., the world's largest fishing organization,
which is now owned by ESPN.
Pittsburgh
Downriggers, Inc. - The Pittsburgh Downriggers is an angler
association with its emphasis on angler education and activities
to introduce Kids to fishing opportunities. The Club helps
at fish rearing ponds, contributes annually to the "Make a
Wish Foundation", takes under privileged kids fishing, and
jointly works with other outdoor clubs to hold events to educate
and promote fishing.
Trout Unlimited - Trout
Unlimited’s mission is to conserve, protect and restore North
America’s trout and salmon fisheries and their watersheds.
Pennsylvania
Trout - We are 11,000 volunteers in 57 Trout Unlimited
Chapters across the Commonwealth with one common goal: the
conservation and enhancement of Pennsylvania's cold water
streams and fisheries, specifically our wild trout resources.
Penn's Woods West Chapter
of Trout Unlimited - Beginning with only 20 members, The
Pennsylvania Chapter of Trout Unlimited, was founded in 1963.
In 1965, the name was changed to Penn's Woods West. Today,
it is the largest chapter in the state and one of the largest
in the country.
North
West PA Chapter - Erie, PA Chapter of Trout Unlimited
SONS
of Lake Erie - S.O.N.S. of Lake Erie is an active angler
association established in1981 to promote better fishing in
Presque Isle Bay and Lake Erie, Erie County.
Western
Pennsylvania Anglers - The WPA is an organization of professional
anglers dedicated to the promotion of Western PA's waterways
and the recreational resources surrounding them.
